Tesco is great for last-minute holidays plus you can buy online.

It could suit you down to the ground if yours is a last-minute holiday and you're next stop is the airport - just read the in-store buyers' guide before you buy.

And don't forget to pick up the Guide to Buying leaflet next to the packs - it contains your flight voucher claim form.

You need to fill out the form inside the leaflet and return it to the address provided, and you'll need to quote the policy number inside the pack you buy.

Tesco claim that they could save you up to 50% compared to some travel agents.

Each insurance policy provides: -

• Up to £5 million emergency medical & travel expenses
• Up to £25,000 legal expenses including holiday contractual disputes
• 24-hour assistance service for legal advice, emergency travel and medical assistance

You get access to legal advice and financial help to claim if, say, your holiday is spoilt by events out of your control, like food poisoning, or unsafe holiday accommodation

Personal possessions cover - up to £1,500 per person - is optional, as is winter sports cover for -

• Skiing and Snowboarding on piste (and off-piste with a qualified instructor)
• Cross-Country Skiing
• Skiing
• Ice Skating
• Curling

The annual travel insurance package covers you for up to 22 days of winter sports activity.
