The package covers most activities and eventualities - cancellation and curtailment (up to the final invoice cost), personal accident (£20,000), baggage and personal effects (£1,750 for Superior cover), plus:

• £2 million for emergency medical expenses
• £2 million for personal liability

As with all group insurance packages, it's wise to make sure that the leader of the gang is covered.

But you have to nominate a leader when you first apply to be eligible for the BAHIS cover for Party Leader Liability (up to £5 million).
