INSURER

This insurance is arranged by Citybond Suretravel and underwritten by Solid Insurance, established in Sweden since 1993, have been active throughout Europe for the past 10 years. Citybond Holdings are authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority and Solid Insurance are authorised and regulated by the Swedish Financial Services Authority, with full passporting rights into the UK.

• Single trip - age limit up to 120 years (NEW)
• Long stay - age limit up to 75
• Young Traveler - 16 - 45
• Annual multi-trip - age limit up to 85
• Annual multi-trip terms:
  • Maximum trip duration 50 days up to and including age 65
    (extendable to 100 days upon payment of additional premium); 35 days for those age 66-85.
  • Winter sports cover now available up to 70 years old (NEW)

TELLING US ABOUT RELEVANT FACTS

Before you travel you must tell us about anything that may affect your cover. If you do not tell us about something that may be relevant, your cover may be refused and we may not cover any related claims.

HEALTH REQUIREMENTS

Your policy contains restrictions regarding Pre-Existing Medical Conditions of the people travelling and of other people upon whose health the trip may depend. YOU ARE ADVISED TO READ YOUR POLICY CAREFULLY and to read the information below.

The Citybond Insurance operates on the basis that all Insured Persons are not travelling against medical advice or with the intention of obtaining medical treatment abroad.

No claim arising directly or indirectly from a Pre-Existing Medical Condition affecting an Insured Person will be covered unless:

• You have declared that condition to Healthcheck247 (on behalf of the Underwriters); and
• You have declared any changes in your health or prescribed medication; and
• Healthcheck247 have accepted that condition or change in condition for insurance in writing prior to departure.

To declare a Pre-existing Medical Condition or a change in your state of health or prescribed medication, you should contact Citybond Suretravel's Medical Screening Department, Healthcheck247, at www.Healthcheck247.com, or telephone them on 0845 618 0343 and quote 'IMA08' (Mon. to Fri. 9.30am to 5.00pm, Sat 9.30am to 12.30pm). Please note that calls to Healthcheck247 may be monitored or recorded for audit or training purposes.

Note: A Pre-Existing Medical Condition is considered to be:

• Any medical or psychological sickness, disease, condition, injury or symptom of which you are aware for which you have required treatment, medical consultation(s), prescribed medication or follow-ups at any time during the 2 years prior to the commencement of cover under this policy and/or prior to the trip;
• and/or any cardiovascular problems (e.g. heart attack, angina, chest pain, any other heart condition, hypertension (raised blood pressure), blood clots, raised cholesterol); any cerebrovascular problems (e.g. stroke, transient ischaemic attack, brain haemorrhage), of which you are aware, that have occurred at any time prior to the commencement of cover under this policy and/or prior to the trip.

POLICY DOCUMENT

The policy wording gives you full details of what is and what is not covered and what to do if you need to claim. It is very important that you read the whole of this policy before you travel and make sure the cover is suitable for you. Please make sure that you take it on holiday with you in case of an emergency. A copy of the policy wording is available on request.

POLICY LIMITS

Each section of the policy shows the most you can claim but other limits may apply. For example, under the Personal Possessions Section there are other specific limits for any one item and for valuables (including photographic equipment). If you intend to take expensive items with you please check that you are fully covered.

CONDITIONS AND EXCLUSIONS

Your policy does not cover all possible events and expenses. There are conditions and exclusions that apply to individual sections of the policy and general conditions and exclusions that apply to the whole policy.

HAZARDOUS ACTIVITIES

If you are going to take part in any hazardous sports or activities you should check that the policy covers you.

CANCELLATION RIGHTS

If your cover does not meet your requirements, please return the documentation within 14 days of receipt and your premium will be refunded in full unless you have travelled made a claim or intend to make a claim. Please note that your cancellation rights are no longer valid after this initial 14 day period.

POLICY EXCESS

Under some sections of your policy, you will have to pay an excess. This means that you will be responsible for paying the first part of the claim for each person insured, for each section, for each incident. The amount you have to pay is the excess.

MAKING A COMPLAINT

The policy contains a complaints procedure which tells you what steps you can take if you wish to make a complaint.
