Pre Existing Anxiety States

Prior to the time of booking, then don't bank on recompense for cancellation if you haven't declared it to your insurer.

Remember too that if you're flying to the States, you have to declare on the embarkation card if a member of your party is suffering from a mental illness such as schizophrenia.

If you have no valid reason for cancellation you can say cheerio to any reimbursement for curtailment or cancellation of your holiday.

Self inflicted

Insurers will automatically deem the reason for curtailment as self inflicted. In other words you will have no just cause to cancel in the first place.

And you'll end up with nothing.
